Literature Text

In the park, a lone avian blue parrot sat on a bench looking out at the denizens with a particular scowl on his face. So many humans, such a tainted and flawed species. Derek, our titular had a particular hatred towards humanity. The reasons behind the origin of this while unknown, the hatred is more than apparent. Of course, at first glance and even when one would begin to talk to the bird they would never guess that. He had a polite way of speaking, and spoke in a confident and polite tone yet one that demanded respect. Dressed in an orange suit and tan slacks the parrot sat up straight as he watched, almost angrily the humans playing and enjoying the day.

It would appear as a passerby would notice the angry looking bird and take a seat next to him. He pondered what to say for a moment before speaking up.

"You alright there?"

"Hm?" Derek looked over with a raised eyebrow. "Oh...yes. Quite alright." he nodded.

"You sure? Don'y exactly look like a happy camper you know?" the jogger responded.

"I assure you while I may look upset on the outside...you my friend, yes you have made my resolve much more clear. What is your name?" Derek asked.

"I'm Jack...what's yours?" he asked a bit uncertain about this character he had begun talking to.

"Derek, but that name will be quite ingrained in your skull by the time we're done here." he answered.

"W-what?" Jack was more than a little confused at the statement. "How do you intend to do that?"

"Relax, it will all make sense in due time." Derek held out a hand.

"Maybe I should go...you seem to be doing fine for yourself." Jack asked slowly starting to get up.

"Nonsense!" Derek chuckled heartily as he put his hand and made a motioning gesture to sit back down, of which he obeyed due to suspicions as to what exactly the bird might do. "Tell me...what do you truly think of humanity?"

"It's...fine I guess?" Jack shrugged.

"Are you truly sure about that? All the war, the bickering, the fighting. Is it truly that fine? Is it really?"

"I mean...we all have our flaws, and I can most certainly name a few you have!" Jack was starting to get defensive.

"And I'm sure you could, you don't have the open mind that other, better species have. The mind of a human is too small to be capable of understanding their own flaws. You get defensive over what I said without ever stating why it's wrong and you assume I'll apologize, but that's not how it works. When something is flawed you need to see why."

"Well I don't need to see anything from you!" Jack said angrily getting up. However, Derek got up with him and reached inside his coat and quickly. Jack was more than worried as to what was about to happen, which would soon turn to confusion as it was nothing more than a gold pocket watch.

"If your mind is going to stay closed let's make it wide open and...susceptible." Derek told him as he began to dangle it back and fourth.

"What the he..." Jack was quickly put under Derek's influence as he entered the trance of the watch as he whole body dropped forward, arms dangling in front of him.

"Now then, I think it's high time we fix your point of view on things. As a human we can't do that now can we?"

"Shut u...n-no...I can't..." Jack tried to fight Derek's words, clearly unable to.

"It's always a joy when you resist. I do insist you stop as it'll only make your last moments as a human all the more pitiful."

Jack's panic in his eyes would soon gaze over leading to nothing being left but a man ready to listen whatever anyone told him, and Derek was going to put that to use.

"Now then, I think I'm going to do something a little special with you. I have to get into a particular party, but the catch is it's couple's only, so you're going to fill that role alright?" Derek told Jack in a singsong voice.

"Alright...anything you want..." Jack respond in a monotone voice, quite the opposite from Derek's tone.

"I knew you'd agree. Now then, I'd never be caught dead with a human." Derek scoffed. "So let's make you much more like me. Grow some feathers all over your body."

Jack nodded and the trance was so deep, that his DNA was in on it and began to follow Derek's order. It completely re-wrote itself inside of Jack, while the outside the handiwork could be seen. Light blue feathers not unlike Derek's would begin sprouting from his head to his toe, with yellow on his face along with white. Just above his rear, a ruffle of yellow tipped blue tailfeathers would form.

"Not too bad...now what else dose a bird need?" Derek asked his victim with a devious grin.

"Wings...a beak...talons..." Jack listed off the things that were missing on his ever-growing avian self.

"Good! Such as smart brain in a disgusting human body. Not to worry, you won't have to live with that burden for long. What you just listed, get those."

Jack's nose and mouth would fuse together, darkening into a midnight black. It pushed outward into a curve as Jack would now be the proud owner of a beak, much to Derek's joy. His toe lost two digits, while a new one formed at his heel while they both turned hard and black completely. From behind Jack, two large wings sprouted outward, nearly as big as Jack himself. After that was done, Jack was a blue parrot very much like Derek was.

"Now then, much better than being a human no? A much more pure and welcoming kind."

"Yes Derek." Jack responded. "I understand what you meant earlier now..." he added on, just as emotionless as ever.

"We're almost done. I don't have attraction to a man, and I don't want more attention than I get already. That being said, become a woman. One wearing a flowing orange dress, the same color as the suit that I have on. Along with that, you'll obtain a purse with all your new belongings."

Jack's ruffle of hair would grow longer, reaching down to his shoulders while his eyelashes elongated outward, eyebrows thinning out. Lavender eyeshadow would form as well as mascara, the tip of his beak sporting red lipstick. His shoulders narrowed down along with his arms, Jack's hands becoming small and feminine in the process. Much of his body fat left his belly to form in different areas, most noticeably his chest. Jack's budding breasts would expand outward, growing to fairly generous sizes, just above average. His back caved inward along with his waist. His hips widened outward to flare out and highlight his curves, now perfect for carrying a child. Jack's last remnant of his old identity would vanish as it slipped back in to his body, contorting vastly to make Jack a woman both inside and out.

The last major change to Jack would come at his clothing. The pants and shirt both merged together, lighting to the orange that Derek had described. The back suddenly had ties that helped to hold it together, the cut of it showing a small bit of cleavage. Underneath that, a bra would form to support Jack's new breasts as high heels formed around her feet, completing the changes.

"And now, once I stop moving the watch you will believe yourself to be Samantha Smith. My wife and lover since college. You don't question my watch, nor dare touch it. You're fully aware about the things I do, but don't dare question it. Deep down you love it, but don't say anything." With that, Derek caught the watch and put it back in his suit pocket.

"Oh my. I feel so dizzy!" Samantha said, her purse dangling on her arm having of just formed. "What happened sweetie?" she turned to Derek.

"Nothing to be concerned about dear." Derek smiled warmly for the first time. "Just taking care of some...business."

"Oh...okay." Samantha blushed at the thought. "It's a lovely day, thank you for taking me here." she smiled back at Derek.

"Anything for my love." Derek said. "And you're going to bring me much more than that soon enough. Come on, we have a party to attend to." Derek added on as he got up and held his arm out for Samantha to grab, of which she did happily and leaned on Derek's arm as they walked looking up lovingly. What a lucky girl she was. Part of her wished she was human before so that Derek could use the watch on her! Alas, she was gifted with her avian self and that day would never come.
It's not easy to be the lover of a sociopathic parrot bend on cleansing the human race  into pure anthro forms so that's why he makes lovers instead.

I wonder what Derek would do for an event that required a parent and child?
