Ms. Corina was stumped. The Paint Shop just wasn't bringing in the attention she wanted. Her commercials failed to bring in anyone new, granted special effects had evolved to make such transformations through them. Even though she knew that they were real, there was no real evidence to prove so. She spent hours at her desk, trying to figure out a way to grab the attention of others. Everything she thought of seemed to fail, but suddenly, a chance encounter from a few weeks ago popped back into her memories. After someone had bought paint and used it, they walked out in a transformed body, what it was exactly was forgotten, but the important part was what bystanders thought. Many came to ask what was going on in the shop, many of which left it with tons of paint for themselves. That was it! She need people to stand out there to attract attention! They would be able to show that the change was real and give small samples that would attract others once they transformed themselves! It was the prefect plan, but there was one small roadbump. The transformations would have to be permanent. Otherwise, she would run low on the paint supplies, losing any profit she would gain, only going deeper in the red. Despite this, Ms. Corina wrote out the job description to post online, while she put a "Help Wanted" sign on the window of the shop.

Within a few days applications started to roll in. Each one, online or not, got a free sample of paint to use so long as they promised to tell their friends, which was where most of her customers came from. However, Ms. Corina would only need a few employees working, she didn't want to make too many people stay transformed forever, just enough to show off the paint's effects. She went through many interviews that day, hoping to finally get the right ones for the job. It seemed hopeless at first, as she would end off with the permanent transformation segment, many of which turned down the job all together at that point. Right when she was ready to give up all together, and maybe even take the bullet herself, another potential new employee came in for the interview. A taller man, brown spiky hair, and a red scare on his right eye.

"Hello." Ms. Corina says standing up to shake the man's hand. "You're here for the job offer I can only assume?" she says with a small chuckle. The man accepts the handshake.

"Have a seat Mr...?"

"Leroy, and thank you." he replies taking a seat.

"I'm Ms. Corina, but everyone just calls be Corey, so you can to." she replies in a positive tone to keep the interview upbeat and fun.

"Nice to meet you Corey." Leroy replies with a small smile.

"Alright Leroy, let's get started..." Corey said as she began the interview process. Overall, it went very well and the job was as good as Leroy's. Corey was nervous for the last thing that had to be asked of, the transformation part.

"Well Leroy, the job is pretty much your's, you are plenty qualified...but there is one thing that I have to ask of you." Corey says a bit nervous.

"Okay...what is it?" he asks curious to her strange tone of voice.

"You know the paint here transforms people right?" she asks quickly, Leroy nodding his head. "Well...I need people who are willing to be permanently transformed." she replies.

"As in...irreversible?" Leroy responds.

"Yes..." Corey sighs nodding.

"Do I get a choice into what I want to turn into?" he asks curiously.

"Wait...you're fine with that?" Corey asks looking up at him.

"Well, I'm willing to." Leroy says with a small smile.

"Of course you can get a choice!" Corey says happily. "Come come, let's get you started right away!" she says taking Leroy's hand, who lets her lead him to a variety of paints in the back.

"Look around, tell me what you wish! Real or fictional I can make it happen!" she says proudly.

"Do you have Wave the Swallow anywhere? From Sonic?" Leroy asks rummaging through a box.

Corey is slightly taken aback by the request. "You know Wave is a female right. You'd be stuck as her forever, I can't turn you back and no other paint can cancel it out." Corey explains. "You'd be a girl for the rest of your life."

"I'm okay with that." Leroy admits. "I've always wanted to try life as a girl, I'm getting a new body forever, why not a new gender too?" he shrugs.

"Well, if you insist." Corey says digging into a blue box. "Wave the Swallow paint." she says holding it. "Are you sure this is who you want to be forever?" she warns one last time.

"I'm sure." Leroy nods.

"Alright then, I'm going to slather the paint on your shoes, the transformation will go up from there." she says getting onto her knees. "Ready?"

"Ready." he nods. Corey gets a large brush and splashes paint down onto his shoes, almost covering them both.

"That's the amount for the permanent transformation, it'll start any second." Corey says.

Almost as if on queue, the paint begins to dry on Leroy's shoes, turning into red and white tennis shoes. Underneath them, Leroy feels his feet turn hard and yellow, his nails turning into talons as they become avian. His whole legs soon turn thin and yellow, having a bit of femininity to them. Leroy's hips expand outward, growing into a small flare of his figure. The same happens at his rear, which becomes a bit rounder and feminine. The next change would be a bit painful as a long forked tail emerges from Leroy's backside, staying there idly. At his crotch, Leroy felt a strange sensation as his manhood slowly retracted into him. On the outside only a slit remained while Leroy's insides morphed until they were appropriate for his, or now, her sex. The pants Leroy has on turned into white sweatpants with purple flame decals at the ends along with a whole for her new tail.

Leroy's changes continued upward as purple feathers began to sprout all over her torso, reaching up to her neck. At her arms, a light lavender feathers grew halfway down, going up to her now glove-covered hands. This resembled flames. Leroy's figure began to contort itself into an hourglass shape as the fat of her belly moved up the her chest, causing her waist to cave inward, giving a small curve to her figure. At Leroy's chest, two small buds began to form. They kept growing until they reached B cup breasts. Her shirt shrunk upwards, turning into a white tank top that only covered her chest, resembling ruffled feathers. A red pendant necklace formed around Leroy's neck as the last changes started at her head.

Leroy felt her adam's apple shrink into almost nothingness, leaving a very high pitched feminine voice behind. Her nose and mouth fused together, turning yellow pushing out into a large beak. Two small slits for nostrils replaced her nose at the tip of her beak. Leroy's eyes became much larger as lavender eyeshadow formed along with mascara as two long eyelashes elongated. Her hair fell down into two large unmoving purple ponytails with a dark purple tip. A white bandanna formed, tying itself onto her head. Lastly, a pair of yellow goggles formed on her, ending the transformation.

Corey was watching nervously, wondering how Leroy's reaction would be.

"Well...how do you feel?" she ask getting closer after putting the paint back.

Leroy felt all over her new body, new things, missing things, the works. "This is really nice!" she replies happily. I love it!"

"Great!" Corey says in relief. "Well my new employee, why don't we get you started?" she asks. Leroy joins her as she they begin training.

Leroy, now known as Wave (legally too!) worked in front of the store, giving out free samples of the transforming paint, using herself as an example of what it can do. It lead to many new patrons heading into the store, some of which asking for the job Leroy was doing. Soon enough, the store got bigger and more busier, so much so she would need to expand to accommodate! Corey began to get in talks with some others to open up a second shop shortly afterwards.
A commission for :iconzohaku:, who wanted his OC Leroy to turn into Wave the Swallow permanently when Ms. Corina, the owner of the Paint Shop featured here: vinomath.deviantart.com/art/A-… wanted employees to work as transformed people to attract attention to the shop. This one was a lot of fun to write, and I'm starting to grow on the universe more. Expect more from it!
